Get to Know Mark Reid from Easton Urban Garden

Mark Reid, a master gardener from “Easton Urban Garden” visited us recently. Easton Urban Garden is a non-profit group dedicated to organic, sustainable horticulture to feed the Easton community. All produce is donated to Easton food banks, soup kitchens, and other organizations for the needy. Mark was kind enough to accompany a few of us out to the garden to help weed, prune, and make suggestions for fall planting. He discussed the Easton organization’s passion for helping to feed and sustain the community through healthy, fresh food. We will be happy to welcome Mark back in the fall to help with planting and support the gardens with fundraisers. A great big thanks to Mark and the Easton Urban Garden for their support of the horticulture therapy program here at New Eastwood!
